We are a youth rodeo association for kids under the age of 14.We use true Miniature Bucking Bulls that are 48” or smaller. These bulls are much better to learn on then a calf or a roping steer. For the reason being they are built much like a real full sized bucking bull. This makes the transition from going to Miniature Bulls to the bigger bulls much easier plus the mini bulls are so much better to ride and learn on because of their size and their build.
We also have Miniature Barrel racing as well. You do not have to ride a miniature horse to participate. We have added the barrel racing to our events to encourage all kids to take part in our organization. Both girls and boys can barrel race and both girls and boys can ride mini bulls. For only one single membership cost. But will pay separate entry fees for each event to participate.
New for our 2012 season is the hilarious wild pony races. A sure event to tickle your funny bone!!!
We have 3 different age divisions:
Tiny tots who are 3 and under
Who don’t need to buy a membership to participate. This is not considered a division in our organization just a very cute jump start for our future champions.
Pee Wee Mini Bulls & Barrels 6 & under
These bulls are the smallest and quietest bulls we have. They trot with very little buck to them. They are perfect for the youngest beginner.
Jr Mini Bulls & Barrels 7-10
These bulls have a bit more buck to them. We do have beginner bulls to advanced bulls in this division. All these bulls will be true Miniature bucking bulls. The real deal!!
Sr Mini Bulls & Barrels 11-14
Most of these bulls will be 45”-48” For our older kids. We do have beginner bulls and advanced bulls in this division. Please note we do have some stunted bulls in this age group. These bulls serve very well in our operation and are suitable for this age group. Stunted bulls are preferred to as bulls that are still under 48” but not bred to be miniature cattle. They just did not get big enough for regular rodeo livestock. Our program is a perfect fit for these type of animals. Though we have very few of them,our program is driven by miniature bred cattle.
So we have bulls for everyone, beginners and advanced riders. We are here to teach and to protect. Our goals “To build confidence one bullride at a time!” by keeping the safety of your children our first priority. It is mandatory for all Mini bullriders to wear a safety vest and a helmet and we do encourage a mouth piece. Bullriding is the worlds largest extreme sport and we do keep safety in mind at all times.
We take pride in building the next generation of professional cowboys and cowgirls and by doing that we start them off on livestock they are ready for. Its not about having the rankest miniature bulls in the industry its about teaching and learning first and then the rest will follow!!! When your child graduates from our Association he or she will be more then ready to compete at the next level of competition.
